Ten Ten Ten (“Ten Ten Ten,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a U.S. nonprofit organization. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information about you when you visit tententen.org (the “Site”), sign our pledge, donate, volunteer, apply for certification/partnership, or otherwise interact with us (together, the “Services”).

By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

01. Information we collect

Information you provide directly :
  • Pledge signatures (e.g., name, organization, title, city/state, email).
  • Donations (e.g., name, billing info, donation amount; payment card data is processed by our payment processor and not stored by us).
  • Forms & applications (e.g., volunteer skills and interests, partnership/certification information, contact messages).
  • Account/profile info (if we later offer accounts), and email preferences (newsletter sign-ups and unsubscribes).
  • Content you choose to submit (e.g., testimonials).
Information collected automatically :
  • Log and device data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring/exit pages, timestamp, and general location (city/region) inferred from IP.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: to remember preferences, protect the Site, and measure usage and performance. See Cookies & Tracking below.
Information from third parties :
  • Payment processors, email platforms, analytics providers, social networks (if you interact with our pages or share content), and public sources.

02. How we use information

We use information to :
  • Provide and improve the Services, operate the Site, and secure our systems.
  • Process pledge signatures, donations, volunteer and partner submissions.
  • Communicate with you (confirmations, updates, newsletters, event invites, policy news). You can opt out of non-transactional emails anytime.
  • Publish pledge participation where appropriate, such as “Pledge Wall & Public Recognition” (roadmap).
  • Conduct research and analytics to advance our mission and improve user experience.
  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce terms, and protect rights, safety, and property.

03. Pledge wall & public recognition (roadmap)

  • When individuals or organizations sign the Ten Ten Ten pledge, we may display name, organization, title, and city/state on a public “Pledge Wall” or similar page.
  • Opt-out: If you prefer not to be listed publicly, or want your listing removed or edited, email privacy@tententen.org

04. Donor & payment information

  • We do not store full payment card numbers; donations are processed by our payment processor (e.g., Stripe) under its own privacy and security terms.
  • We may publish donor names for acknowledgment unless you opt to remain anonymous. To remain anonymous or to change your preference, contact privacy@tententen.org
  • We do not sell donor information.

05. When we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share :
  • Service providers/contractors who perform services for us (hosting, analytics, email sending, payment processing, security, customer support). They may access data only to perform services on our behalf and must protect it.
  • Partners and research collaborators in de-identified or aggregated form.
  • Legal, safety, and compliance: to comply with law, enforce agreements, or protect rights, safety, and property.
  • Organizational changes: if we undergo a restructuring or merge with another nonprofit, your information may be transferred consistent with this Policy.

06. When we share information

We use cookies and similar technologies to :
  • Keep the Site working (security, load balancing, session management).
  • Remember preferences (e.g., cookie choices).
  • Measure traffic and performance (e.g., page views, referral sources).
Your choices :
  • Cookie banner/settings: Manage preferences when prompted or via a “Cookie Settings” link (if enabled).
  • Browser controls: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies.
  • Do Not Track: We currently do not respond to DNT signals due to industry standards lacking consensus.

07. Data retention

  • We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here (and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements).
  • Retention periods vary by data type and context. When no longer needed, we will delete or de-identify data.

08. Data use policy for AI copilot and other future product development

  • No Direct Use of Partner Data. Ten Ten Ten does not directly use medical, pharmacy, operational, or certification-related data from our partners or clients to train, fine-tune, or validate our AI Copilot systems.
This includes :
  • Claims data from certification clients
  • Proprietary datasets shared through partnerships
  • Any identifiable or de-identified data provided under contractual or collaborative agreements

09. Your choices & rights

  • Email : Unsubscribe from non-transactional emails using the link in the message or contact privacy@tententen.org
  • Access, correct, or delete : You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing privacy@tententen.org
  • State privacy laws (e.g., CA, CO, CT, VA, UT) : Depending on your state, you may have additional rights to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain uses/disclosures. Submit requests to privacy@tententen.org with “Privacy Request” in the subject. We will verify your identity before fulfilling a request. You may authorize an agent to make a request on your behalf (we may require proof of authorization).
  • We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by certain state laws. If we ever change this, we will provide required notices and opt-out mechanisms.
European Economic Area/UK/Swiss users :
  • If applicable, our legal bases include consent (e.g., newsletters, optional cookies), contract (to provide Services you request), legitimate interests (mission-aligned operations, security, analytics proportionate to impact), and legal obligations. 10. Children’s Privacy

  • Our Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact privacy@tententen.org and we will delete it.

11. Security

  • We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. International data transfers

  • If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. (and other countries) where laws may differ from those in your country. We take steps consistent with applicable law to protect such transfers.

13. Third-party links & social features

  • Our Site may link to third-party websites, apps, and services (e.g., social media platforms). We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing personal information.

14. Changes to this policy

  • We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page and, when required, we will notify you by email or a prominent notice on the Site.
